This intimate 1 day workshop takes place within the Voice Care Centre, and sees you putting into practise the work from Walt’s two day course with professionals from the West End. There are only 6 spaces per day, and this is selling very quickly.
Only people who have attended one of Walt’s two day Voice and Swallowing seminars may attend.
Walt Fritz is a physical therapist from the United States who has been using manual therapy as a primary intervention since 1992. He has been an educator since 1995, and his work has evolved from “myofascial release” into a more accurate term, “manual therapy.” He teaches health and vocal performance professionals across the globe. You can learn about his work through articles and videos at www.WaltFritz.com.
Founder of the Voice Care Centre, Stephen is a hybrid healthcare practitioner who combines Manual Therapy, Medical Acupuncture, Voice Pedagogy, Spinal Manipulation, and Myofascial Release. Fascinated by divisions between the various forms of evidence based interventions, alternative medicines and placebo mechanisms, Stephen is always seeking to meld the allopathic with the naturopathic for the highest possible clinical efficacy.
Stephen’s vocal coaching has taken him as far as China and his therapeutic work is in demand across Europe for private manual therapy/ voice clinics, seminars and workshops at several international conferences and events. The therapeutic education Stephen delivers is centred around somatosensory and neuromuscular systems, professing that “no pain, no gain” is now almost wholly unsupported by current pain science. Stephen has also been instrumental in the grass roots education of Vocal Massage to massage therapists and vocal coaches which was a treatment modality once reserved only for Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and Osteopaths.
